Muscat, Oman – Americana Oman, which holds the franchise of KFC, Hardee’s, and their own concept Americana Chicken Tikka, will now deliver their delicious and popular food products with rocket speed with the induction of 30 Chevrolet’s Spark Cars into their home delivery fleet. The keys were handed over by Mr. Cyrus Vevaina, MD, OTE-Group to Mr. Mamdouh Shalaby, GM, International Tourism Restaurants LLC (Americana Oman), in Oman at a grand ceremony recently.

 Speaking at the function, Mr. Mamdouh Shalaby said, “The Chevrolet Spark immediately attracts attention with its modern design.  It has intelligent packaging, and has a surprisingly spacious and versatile interior. Chevrolet Spark suits Americana’s needs perfectly, for both commuting in congested city traffic and for parking in small spaces.  We are extremely delighted to close such a deal with Chevrolet and Oman Trading Establishment (OTE), their Distributor in Oman”.

 International Tourism Restaurants LLC (Americana Oman), established its first two restaurants KFC and Hardee’s in 1986 as the first leading concepts of QSRs ever introduced in Oman. Throughout the years, KFC, Hardee’s and Chicken Tikka have always delivered their promises to their lovers and yet still more to come especially after this new fleet of Sparks which was added recently to the existing Home Delivery fleet; As a result, delivering our products Hot and Fresh to our customers which were always our primary objective and concern.

 The Chevrolet Spark features a progressive design that attracts immediate attention with its ‘smiling face.’ It is the perfect choice for the younger generation, looking for the greater freedom and fun.  The Chevrolet Spark also features a unique cockpit design.  Due to its intelligent packaging and long wheelbase of 2,345 millimetres, the new Spark offers a comparatively large amount of space and a feeling of roominess.   The interior also offers a number of clever storage locations, with shelves, trays, and bottle and can-holders. Other safety features in the Chevrolet Spark include driver, passenger and side air bags, three-point seat belts and head restraints for all five seats, electrically operated pretensioners, belt force limiters in the front and the latest-generation four-channel anti-lock brake system from Bosch. Features on the Chevrolet Spark include power-assisted steering, electrically operated front windows, central locking and a height-adjustable driver’s seat and seat belt.
